Tommy Shelby: The Survivor in the “Intermediate Space”

NGANG – 6

In the recently released trailer, the question is posed: “What happened to Tommy Shelby?” Tommy is now in his most broken state, living in a self-created “purgatory”, isolated from his family and the world. Cillian Murphy shared: “He lives in an intermediate space, where he’s not really living but not really dead either.” Tommy’s line, “I used to have almost everything. But ‘almost’ doesn’t count,” reflects the internal conflict and haunting memories of the past.

New Cast and Tense Relationships

Rebecca Ferguson plays a mysterious character who questions Tommy about the abandoned kingdom and his estranged son. Barry Keoghan plays Duke Shelby, Tommy’s illegitimate son, who now runs the Peaky Blinders gang in a 1919 style.
